Terms and Conditions

Pricing:

We offer Wholesale Pricing to retailers stocking for stores. We offer Designer Pricing for designers that buy for individual projects. To purchase from us please present your Sales Tax I.D. certificate and a business card or copy of a business check. To qualify for Wholesale Pricing we must see one of the following: 1. Picture of the storefront; 2. Website for the store 3. Printed advertisement for the store. Significant discounts are available for full container sales.

New Accounts:

Clients must be logged in as either a designer or wholesale customer before item pricing is made available. If you are a wholesaler or designer and would like to apply for an account with House Eclectic, please complete the necessary form here. Please allow at least 1 business day for your application to be reviewed. Once your designer or wholesale status has been approved you will receive an email indicating the new status. The next time you log in, inventory and prices will be displayed accordingly.

Variability:

We sell a combination of vintage, traditionally-made, and factory-made products. Because many pieces are bench-made, individual pieces may vary in the decorative details and size. Occasionally pieces are subject to shrinkage and cracking; particularly in arid climates. These imperfections are to be expected and contribute to the rustic quality of the item.

Minimums:

We require a $400 minimum for all orders.

Deposits:

If an item is back-ordered item we require a 50% deposit. Deposits cannot be refunded.

Cancellations:

Orders must be cancelled within 24 hours of the original order. Any orders cancelled after the 24-hour period will incur a 25% restocking fee. This includes backorders. Sorry, we cannot make exceptions.

Payment:

All terms are prepaid. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Company Check.

Lead Times:

In-Stock items ship within 7 business days. If an item is in production the estimated lead time is within 12 weeks. For items not yet in production please allow up to 16 weeks. We are happy to review item availability with you at any time.

Partial Shipments:

Because we carry items in many finishes, it is sometimes necessary to ship a partial order. It is our policy to ship product as it arrives provided shipping is within our shipping guidelines.

Shipping:

While House Eclectic, Inc. may facilitate shipping, all risk and responsibility are assumed by the buyer. Prices are FOB from our North Carolina warehouse. Smaller items are shipped via UPS with a separate charge to credit card. Large items and large order are shipped by Freight. Freight charges are always freight collect. We always attempt to ship the cheapest method possible. Please see our Freight Carrier List by State for details.

Residential Delivery:

The furniture carriers we use at this time do not ship to residences. Please provide a commercial address for delivery.

Returns/Damages:

All sales are final. It is not our policy to issue refunds. If merchandise is found defective we issue credit memos for future purchase. PLEASE CAREFULLY INSPECT SHIPMENT AND NOTE DAMAGE OF ANY KIND ON DELIVERY RECEIPT. We request that all merchandise be opened immediately for freight damage. Please contact both House Eclectic and the freight company within 48 hours to preserve the right to file a claim. To make a claim we will require pictures to evaluate the problem and to help with our quality control. All claims filed with House Eclectic must use our Damage Report Form and be emailed along with the pictures to info@houseeclectic.com.
